Mayabeque, Cuba: The Estro de Montecallado theater group, from Bejucal, belonging to the Provincial Council of Visual Arts of Mayabeque, celebrates its 20 years of foundation.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the artistic group did not overlook its new birthday and celebrated it with an extensive program in disadvantaged areas and with difficult access together with the Andarte Brigade, of the Hermanos Saiz Association of the province.
As reported by its director José Miguel Díaz, Jochy, at the Lajero Cinema-theater they held the seventh edition of the Alegría Event, with the presentation of the play Let’s Hug ourselves in the Cherry Garden!
Estro de Montecallado, founded on January 15, 2000, under the name of Teatro Tablas, after receiving as headquarters the Birthplace of Félix Pita Rodríguez, develops the line of dramatic theater and covers the categories of theater for children, from puppets and for young people.
