Havana: The national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Saturday one deceased and 950 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for an accumulated of 71 thousand 584 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at the close of yesterday, 21,736 patients were admitted, of them 3,793 suspects, 14,526 in epidemiological surveillance and 3,417 confirmed.
Durán explained that the country carried out 20,935 samples the day before for a cumulative of 2 million 904 thousand 058 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of 950 patients, 464 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 917 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 19 have a source of infection abroad and in 14 people the source of infection is unknown. 931 autochthonous patients were reported.
Regarding the age groups, 109 patients less than 19 years of age and in pediatric ages were diagnosed, 505 remain active hospitalized. In the ages of 19 to 39 years 339 cases were confirmed, between 40 and 59 years about 340 cases and 162 people older than 60 years.

The two evacuees remain, 54 returnees and 67 thousand 697 recovered patients accumulate (850 discharges of the day). 30 patients in critical condition and 36 patients in serious condition are reported.
