Cuba: The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, ratified on Twitter that there will be no lack of science and efforts in the country to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic, Radio Reloj reports.
The president expressed that this will be a tribute to the prestigious scientist Dr. Gustavo Sierra, who died this Tuesday due to that infectious disease.
The Head of State, through the same social network, asked Cubans for maximum care, physical distancing and permanent cleaning as measures to avoid the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19.
Díaz-Canel stressed that the pandemic continues to claim lives, health and resources in Cuba, since the number of infections does not experience a decrease.
