Mayabeque, Cuba: The Mini-industry El Roble, located in this province, today donated products to the General Teaching Hospital Leopoldito Martínez, in the provincial capital.

The donation included pickles, tomato puree and sauces, vinegar and marinades, as well as jams and juices; assortments that are produced in a stable way in the small industry.

This initiative is one of the actions to support the supply of food in centers where Covid -19 is currently being fought in the territory.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the productive entity has made donations to settlements with restricted movements and isolation centers in the province, according to its director Lázaro Valdés Sánchez.

The manager also pointed out that this is a project that was created to promote local development and within its social functions it has to provide support in the event of a disaster or an exceptional situation.

This is the largest donation made by the production center and as of today the delivery of similar volumes, systematically, to this institution is expected.
