Cuba: At midnight yesterday, June 27, 39,870 patients were admitted, 8,900 suspects, 17,757 under surveillance and 13,213 confirmed active, the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Health.
For COVID-19, 30,449 samples were studied, resulting in 2,589 positive samples. The country accumulates 5 million 047 thousand 554 samples carried out and 184 thousand 943 positive.
Of the total number of cases (2 thousand 589): 2 thousand 433 were contacts of confirmed cases; 69 with a source of infection abroad; 87 without a specified source of infection. Of the 2,589 cases diagnosed, 1,294 were female and 1,295 male.
28.1% (728) of the 2 thousand 589 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 85 thousand 240 which represents 46.1% of those confirmed to date.
The 2 thousand 589 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (475), from 20 to 39 years old, (769), from 40 to 59 years old (907) and over 60 (438).

Of the 184,943 patients diagnosed with the disease, 13,213 remain hospitalized, of them 13,034 with stable clinical evolution. There are 1 253 deaths (12 on the day), two evacuees, 54 returned to their countries, on the day there were 1 549 discharges, 170 thousand 421 recovered patients accumulate (92.1%). A total of 179 confirmed patients, 65 critically ill and 114 seriously ill, are cared for in intensive care.
Until June 27, 190 countries and 30 territories with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 181 million 757 thousand 612 (+ 363 thousand 970) with 11 million 553 thousand 231 active cases and 3 million 936 thousand 658 deaths (+ 7 thousand 348) for a fatality of 2.17 (=).
