Mayabeque, Cuba: The Base Business Unit (UEB) Confecciones Tropicales, from Jaruco, does not stop the production of textile garments aimed to support the fight against Covid-19 in health institutions.
The 349 workers manufacture gowns, hats, mask faces (nasobucos), boots and pajamas, which are part of the productions of the Base Business Unit Confecciones Tropicales.
This UEB, despite the complex situation created by the pandemic, continues its activities in 10 of the 11 workshops located in 5 municipalities of Mayabeque, according to statements by the sector authorities.
These garments destined for health centers are a contribution of the workers of textile manufacturing from their machines to the actions of the province and the country, aimed at stopping the advance of Covid-19.
