The Federation of Civil Construction Workers of Peru (FTCCP) sent a fraternal greeting to the construction workers and related workers.
In the message signed by its Secretary General Luis Villanueva Carbajal, the FTCCP highlights the worsening of the difficult circumstances of the health and economic crisis that affect the peoples of the world and that in Cuba is growing due to the criminal blockade imposed by the United States for more than 60 years.
“One more time, the empire intends to subdue the dignity and sovereignty of the homeland of Martí, Fidel, and Raúl and overthrow the revolutionary government presided over by comrade Miguel Díaz-Canel. But once again they will bite the dust of defeat, ”the text states.
“The Peruvian people, the working class of the scaffolding, does not forget the solidarity imprint of the Cuban people and its socialist Revolution, when in the 70s brigades of builders came to offer their determined support in the reconstruction of the destroyed city of Huaraz and Yungay due to the flood and the earthquake, which caused more than 70 thousand victims”.
“Construction brigades also came to help rebuild the towns south of Lima: Ica, Pisco Chincha and Cañete after the tragic earthquake that occurred about ten years ago.”
“The attempts to destabilize the Cuban Revolution, by the United States and the Cuban maggot based in Miami, deserve our total repudiation, we also express our rejection of the inhuman blockade and criminal sanctions against the people imposed by TRUMP and that the new administration of BIDEN maintains”, he assures.
“Dear colleague, our solidarity and our full disposition in the defense of the Socialist Revolution in Cuba,” the text concludes.
