New norms for the Trade Schools in Cuba.

Cuba: The Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba publishes the details on the new norms that will govern the Trade Schools and their policy in relation to vocational training and professional orientation, Radio Rebelde reports.

According to the Gazette in its number 85, the Council of Ministers attributes to the Ministry of Education the power to control the policy of these educational institutions, as well as the training of qualified workers, in correspondence with the economic and social needs of the country.

Likewise, the document clarifies that, due to the current situation in the country, it is necessary to issue a rule that establishes a new training model and the updating of the study plans for the operation of these centers.

These strategies should stimulate the professional training of students with special educational needs, so that they develop manual skills in different specialties and thus guarantee the personal fulfillment of adolescents with the possibility of training their abilities.
