Mayabeque, Cuba: In the recent days the province of Mayabeque shows a slight decrease in the number of infections in the territory, so at midnight yesterday it reported 124 positive cases, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in Cuba.
The municipality of Jaruco registers 18 cases with the disease, Santa Cruz del Norte confirms 17 people infected in the town and Bejucal reported 14 people with the virus.
With 13 patients is San José de las Lajas; Quivicán, Batabanó and Madruga each have 11 positive samples for SARS-Cov-2; Güines: 10, Nueva Paz: 9, Melena del sur: 7 and San Nicolás: 3.
Four citizens died in the province, one from Jaruco, one from Quivicán, one from San José de las Lajas and another from San Nicolás. We deeply regret what happened and convey our condolences to family and friends.
Despite the decrease in cases in the province, the population must continue to comply with biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
