Cuba: More than 600 thousand Cuban children, adolescents and young people returned to the classrooms today to resume and complete the 2020-2021 school year, Cubasí reports.
Conceived as a staggered, gradual and safe process, the return to face-to-face teaching activities in General Education follows the same three-group scheme, with which the vaccination campaign of the Cuban pediatric population from two to 18 years of age has been carried out.
Today the students of the first two years of Pre-University, Pedagogical Training and Technical and Vocational Education, those of the sixth grade of Primary and all of the Basic Secondary and those corresponding to those grades in Special Education returned to school.
Classes will be held from Monday to Friday, focused on the systematization of content in all the subjects of the study plan.
There will also be reviews at the opposite time and not a few complementary activities: sports, recreational, vocational training and professional orientation and social impact, among others.
