United States: The United States health authorities reported an increase in pediatric cases of Covid-19 for the third consecutive week, Cubasí reports.
A new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association reports that nearly 142,000 infants tested positive in the past week, representing a 16 percent increase over the previous week and a 41 percent increase in the last three weeks.
Almost 6.8 million children have tested positive for Covid-19 since the pandemic began in the United States.
The Midwest region has the highest number of pediatric cases.
