Havana, Cuba: Cuba reported at midnight this Sunday 130 new cases with Covid-19 and no deaths, Radio Habana Cuba reports.
The website of the Ministry of Public Health informed that 3,417 patients were admitted, 2,393 suspects, 161 under surveillance and 863 confirmed active.
For Covid-19, a total of 16,905 samples were made for surveillance during the day for a cumulative of 11 million 083 thousand 208 samples carried out and 962 thousand 350 positive.
Of the total cases (130): 127 were contacts of confirmed cases; 2 with a source of infection abroad; 1 without a specified source of infection. Of the 130 diagnosed cases, 71 were female and 59 male.
15.4% (20) of the 130 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132 thousand 534, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.
Of the 130 diagnosed cases, they belong to the age groups: under 20 years (19), 20 to 39 years (23), 40 to 59 years (48), 60 and over (40).
Of the 962 thousand 350 patients diagnosed with the disease, 863 remain hospitalized, of them 838 with stable clinical evolution.
There are 8,300 deaths (0 in the day), fatality of 0.86% vs 1.99% in the world and 2.43% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 192 discharges, 953 thousand 130 recovered patients accumulate (99.0%). 25 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, 13 of them critical and 12 seriously ill.
