Mayabeque, Cuba: The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba published on its official Web site informed that Mayabeque yesterday reported 82 new positive cases to Covid-19, all contacts previously confirmed cases.
According to data published on the website of the Ministry of Public Health, the municipality of San José de las Lajas is the highest incidence with 29 people with the new coronavirus, followed by Madruga and San Nicolás with 10 each.
For their part, Nueva Paz, Jaruco and Santa Cruz del Norte each confirmed 7 patients with the virus, while Bejucal and Melena del Sur diagnosed 5. The municipalities of Batabanó and Güines reported two cases.
The day before, Mayabeque lamented the death of a person due to Covid-19.
The highest authorities of the Government and Public Health in Mayabeque urge the mandatory use of the protective mask, disinfect hands and surfaces with sodium hypochlorite and maintain physical distance, as one of the main methods to contain the spread of the pandemic.
