Mayabeque, Cuba: Yesterday, Mayabeque reported 28 new positive cases of Covid-19 in seven of its municipalities. All are contacts of confirmed cases, the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported.
The municipality of Quivicán registered 8 patients with the new coronavirus, followed by Madruga with 6, San José de las Lajas and San Nicolás with 5 each, Batabanó with 2 and Güines with 1.
Yesterday no deaths were reported.
Despite the decrease in the numbers of infections, strict compliance with the established hygienic-sanitary measures must be maintained.
Frequent hand washing, the correct and permanent use of the mask and the disinfection of common areas must be part of the daily routine.
