Mayabeque, Cuba: The Mayabeque baseball team was unable to play but remains at the top of the standings as its closest pursuers Villa Clara and Matanzas fell at the start of the thirteenth particular subseries of the National Baseball Series.
Radio Habana Cuba reports that the selection of the province leads (19-10), followed by Matanzas (18-11), Santiago de Cuba (19-12), Villa Clara fell to fourth place (18-12) and Ciego de Ávila in fifth (18-13).
