The territories with the highest incidence are San José de las Lajas, San Nicolás and Bejucal, each with 11 infected; while Batabanó and Nueva Paz have 10 per municipality and Santa Cruz del Norte: 9.
For its part, Quivicán reports 8 patients; Melena del Sur: 6; Jaruco: 5; Madruga: 3 and Güines: 2.
The authorities urge not to lower the guard or biosecurity measures, given the increase in people positive for Covid-19 in recent days.
The virus can spread from the mouth or nose of an infected person in the form of small liquid particles expelled when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing, or breathe.
