Mayabeque, Cuba: Under the slogan Cuba Lives and Works, the people from the Cuba-Nicaragua Friendship Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) were invited to celebrate the International Workers’ Day.

Young people from different entities, members of the CDR, FMC, peasants united with the government authorities and partisans of the territory and members of the municipal secretariat of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC) contributed with the planting of 3.4 hectares of cane.

The party of the proletariat will have the parades as a renovating stage, this time as usual in a large part of the wide street of the territory, where the cessation of the intensified and genocidal blockade imposed by the United States will be demanded.

This celebration will also serve to give a forceful demonstration of the indestructible unity of the people and their support for the work of equity and justice of the Revolution.
