Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers at the Rómulo Padrón Feed Factory in Mayabeque guarantee animal feed to provide poultry and other producing entities in the provinces of Matanzas, Havana, Artemisa, Sancti Spíritus and Villa Clara.
In this industry, located in the municipality of Jaruco, during the recovery stage of the pandemic they intensify the work to cover the needs, taking into account the nutritional requirements according to the species, to achieve high production yields.
According to the unit’s production manager, Emildio Villaverde Rodríguez, the formulas are developed by specialists, laboratory analysts and veterinarians who guarantee as a final result a concentrate adapted to the characteristics of each breed, based on compliance with good practices for the standards of food quality and safety.
For the elaboration of these nutritional supplements they adopt biosecurity measures, from the reception of the raw material to the distribution.
