Mayabeque, Cuba: Teatro del Sur, a young group from the Melena del Sur municipality that continues history and tradition, will soon premiere its second play, a satire of the well-known theater piece La Casa de Bernarda Alba, by the famous Spanish playwright, Federico García Lorca.
Regarding the event, its young director Yosbel Reyes Ricardo, commented how happy he feels for everything achieved thanks to the delivery of a group of three other actresses.
At the beginning of the summer, the Teatro del Sur filled the hall of the Casa de Cultura, in the locality, with a public eager for this type of cultural experience.
The quality of the first performance and the work achieved with La Casa de Bernarda Alba, provide them with a unique possibility, adds Reyes Ricardo, to participate in the next international Blanca Becerra theater event, based in the Mayabeque province.
