Cuba: The ten international airports in Cuba received the necessary certification for the restart of operations after the Covid-19 pandemic. A commission endorsed that the air terminals comply with the protocols established to resume activities, Radio Reloj reports.
Among the measures established to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus are taking travelers’ temperatures upon arrival and departure, and disinfecting their hands.
Also in these spaces, conditions were created for due interpersonal distancing, and frequent sanitation of the living areas was indicated, as well as the fumigation of the luggage.
During the period of almost total inactivity, the facilities were renovated and adapted to meet the sanitary standards required by the new context, while workers received training to ensure their own safety and that of passengers.
