Mayabeque Authorities Confirm Compliance with Sanitary Measures in Educational Centers

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Defense Council in Mayabeque confirmed the compliance with the sanitary hygiene measures in the face of the new scenario imposed by COVID 19 when restarting the school year.

In a tour of the Bartolomé Maso Urban Basic Secondary School, the Antonio Jiménez Sports Initiation School and the Pedro Albizu Campos Pedagogical School, the observance of actions to guarantee the health of students and teachers and the need to take extreme protection was evidenced.

In times of challenge, the school calendar is resumed, taking into account actions to preserve the health of schoolchildren and conclude the 2019-2020 academic year.

In the ESBU, located in Guines, recently renovated, the delegation learned of the efforts of the cloister, the teacher training and the distribution of students according to the guidelines of the Ministries of Education and Public Health.

The president of the Provincial Defense Council, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich called for reinforcing measures in times of health contingency in order to avoid outbreaks in schools

Going back to the classroom and retaking the books implies discipline and responsibility to face the new coronavirus.

For future athletes it is a challenge that they take on with discipline, as explained by director Signey Fraga. He referred to this in a tour of the infirmary, area for boxing practice and other disciplines, in addition to the bedrooms.

At the Pedro Albizu Campos School, after visiting different areas, the director Livan Amador Gil, explained about the restart of the course and offered an overview of the conditions to continue the school calendar taking into account the sanitary hygiene measures.

Some 286 school institutions in this province opened their doors to receive students and start classes to conclude the 2019-2020 academic year.
