Cuba: At midnight Monday, September 7, Cuba reported 25 new cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 4,377 since last March; 58 medical discharges and 2 deaths, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Durán García, reported this Tuesday at a press conference, Cubadebate publishes.
For COVID-19, 7,572 samples were studied, resulting in 25 positive samples. The country accumulates 446 thousand 776 samples carried out and 4 thousand 377 positive (0.98%).
The 25 diagnosed cases are Cuban, of which 22 were contacts of confirmed cases, two without a specified source of infection and one with a source of infection abroad, 10 are male and 15 are female. 52% (13) were asymptomatic, accumulating 2,562, representing 58.5% of those confirmed to date.

Of the 4,377 patients diagnosed with the disease, 571 (13.0%) remain confirmed, 561 98.2% with stable clinical evolution. 104 deaths are reported (two of the day), two evacuated, 58 discharges of the day, 3 thousand 700 recovered patients accumulate (84.6%). Two patients in critical condition and eight in serious condition are reported.
Until September 7, 185 countries with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 27 million 150 thousand 797 (+ 229 thousand 686) and 889 thousand 256 deaths (+ 7 thousand 425) for a fatality of 3.27 %.
