Mayabeque, Cuba: The National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) in Mayabeque, reminds taxpayers that the voluntary period for the payment of the Tax on Land Transportation and the Property or Possession of Ships began from January and extends until the next September 30th of this year.
All those natural and legal persons, Cuban or foreign, who are owners or possessors of motor vehicles and animal traction, destined for land transportation and owners or possessors of vessels, are obliged to pay these Taxes.
The ONAT encourages taxpayers to make the payment before the expiration of the voluntary period for these two taxes in order not to incur the penalties provided in the Tax System Law.
