In this way, Cuba has the medical personnel, paramedics, nurses, social workers, students of medical sciences and others to stop the pandemic.
Science shows that we have a completely socialized system that guarantees attention to all with biotechnological innovations and proof of this is the use of the Cuban antiviral drug Interferon Alpha-2b to combat the Coronavirus both within the nation and in China and others countries our country has 8.2 doctors per capita, more than triple that of the United States with 2.6 and South Korea with 2.4 almost 5 times more than China with 1.8 almost double that of Italy with 4.1.
Cuba, this island blocked by the northern power, offers solidarity help despite the economic situation it is going through today. Solidarity is an inherent principle of the Cuban Revolution, of men of good will towards other peoples who have faced natural catastrophes or lack of basic services such as education and health in times of pandemic.
And I am talking about this present Cuba, the one that makes me proud, that makes me feel happy to live in it, because I feel like a pure Cuban, Cuban at heart.
