Mayabeque, Cuba: Public health authorities in Güines take extreme health measures to implement action protocols in the face of the confirmation of positive cases for Covid-19.
The Deputy Director of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the municipality, Dr. Lisandra Estanquero, reported that “as a result of the confirmed case, the focus control is being carried out in search of direct or indirect contacts.”
Of the rigor with which they work to prevent the spread, she added: ?working in the search for more contacts in Catalina de Güines and in the city of Güines (direct and indirect). The protocol to be followed is maintained, the patients who arrive suffering from respiratory infections, are admitted to the corresponding isolation room and the PCR sample is taken from all the patients ?.
The actions contribute to the prevention and control of the pandemic, to the better management of cases and the protection of the population.
