Mayabeque, Cuba: The preparations for the 2020-2021 sugar harvest are progressing satisfactorily in the province of Mayabeque, for which the workers are carrying out reparation actions in order to start the fight on November 26.
The Boris Luis Santa Coloma Base Business Unit (UEB), located in Madruga, should start on the agreed date and the Héctor Molina plant in San Nicolás by January 5.
According to the deputy director of the Mayabeque Sugar Company, Yanelkis Romero Pinto, they are in the repair stage of the agricultural and industrial machinery and the conditions for milling are being prepared.
There is also a working system to check these actions in the entities, as well as in the workshops, taking into account the manufacture and repair of spare parts in the squads.
