Havana, Cuba: At midnight yesterday, September 27, 7,824 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of them: 6,011 under surveillance, 1,241 suspects and 572 confirmed, the official website of the MINSAP reports.
For COVID-19 7,099 samples were studied, resulting in 26 positive samples. The country accumulates 599,020 samples carried out and 5,483 positive (0.92%).
The 26 diagnosed cases are Cuban. Of the total cases (26) were contacts of confirmed cases. Of them, 13 (50%) are male and 13 (50%) are female.
The residence by province and municipality of the 26 confirmed cases:
- Artemisa (1 case): Candelaria (1).
- Havana (16 cases): Cotorro (6), Old Havana (3), Regla (2), Diez de Octubre (1), Boyeros (1), Habana del Este (1), San Miguel del Padrón (1), Revolution Square (1).
- Matanzas (1 case): Cárdenas (1).
- Sancti Spíritus (2 cases): Sancti Spíritus (2).
- Ciego de Ávila (6 cases): Ciego de Ávila (4), Venezuela (1), Bolivia (1)
Of the 5 thousand 483 patients diagnosed with the disease, 572 (10.4%) remain confirmed, 567 99.1% with stable clinical evolution. 122 deaths are reported (none of the day), two evacuated, 36 discharges of the day, 4 thousand 787 recovered patients (87.3%), two critical and three serious.
Until September 27, 185 countries with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 32 million 865 thousand 838 (+251 thousand 994) and 993 thousand 438 deaths (+3 thousand 710) for a lethality of 3.02 % (-0.01).
In the region of the Americas, 16 million 400 thousand 563 confirmed cases (+115 thousand 164) are reported, 49.90% of the total cases reported in the world, with 550 thousand 761 deaths (+2 thousand 889) for a fatality of 3.35% (-0.01).
