Mayabeque, Cuba: A broad international collaboration activity is carried out at the National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA), located in San José de las Lajas, in support of the development of the priorities of the institution’s scientific strategy.

The Director of International Relations, Ms. Tania Rivas Quintero, comments that CENSA is working on attracting financing for the creation of capacities for the training of personnel for the transfer and acquisition of technology, all this in terms of development and achievement of the fundamental objectives of the center.

Rivas Quintero affirms that in this house of higher studies they have nine international projects in progress, in addition to 10 exchange actions, backed by bilateral collaboration agreements between CENSA and other institutions.

The approval of funding from several international sources is also achieved for the development of scholarships based on the training of its staff, like doctorates or post-doctorates and the work in networks, which is one of the fundamental actions for the exchange of knowledge from and to towards CENSA.
