Outstanding Workers of the Banking Sector Will Be Recognized in Jaruco

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Cuban Women Federation recognizes outstanding workers in the banking sector in the country, on the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of that institution to be celebrated on October 13^th.

The women’s organization will award the diploma to Yaima Ascencio Díaz, a worker at the Credit and Commerce Bank, while Liliet González Hiedra, Elsa Barrios Gutiérrez and Zoila Capote León will receive it at the Popular Savings Bank.

Both activities will take place from three in the afternoon on Tuesday in the presence of leaders of the women’s organization and workers of both banking institutions.

They will also recognize four outstanding women in the sector, for their performance each day, especially Elsa Barrios Gutiérrez Director of Popular Savings Bank and Zoila Capote León, a worker of the entity, who have been working continuously for 37 and 38 years respectively at the service of the village.

The stimulus is the result of bank benefits to people vulnerable to contracting Covid 19, carried out in their homes, during the months of greatest transmission of the pandemic, including the payment of pensions to retirees.
