Mayabeque, Cuba: More than 600 students in the preschool, fifth and seventh grades already have their new school uniforms after starting their sale in the Commerce retail network.
The Head of Planning and Statistics of the Municipal Directorate of Education, Greidy Llanos González, specified that the sale was organized in a staggered manner in the units of each Popular Council to avoid crowds.
Families acquire the garments for the children who will begin their school life and those who will begin Basic Secondary School and the second cycle of Primary Education on November 2, the date set for the start of the 2020-2021 school stage.
The 120 students who make up the new enrollment of the Institutes of the Pre-university and Polytechnic levels will buy the school uniforms next Monday, October 19, the Education specialist said.
