Mayabeque, Cuba: The potato planting campaign in Madruga is nearing completion; only about eight hectares remain to complete these tasks on land owned by the Rubén Martínez Villena Agricultural Company in the municipality.
According to the director of the entity, Reinier Riverón Rivero, they have all the national potatoes and will culminate with the imported seed before December 28.
The harvests of the demanded short-cycle agricultural product are estimated as of next March.
The destination is local self-sufficiency, the rest of the Mayabeque territories and the Cuban capital.
