Havana: At midnight yesterday, January 19, 9,775 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 4,387 suspects, 971 under surveillance and 4,417 confirmed, the official website of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba reports.
For COVID-19, 10 thousand 931 samples were studied, resulting in 349 positive samples. The country accumulates one million 724 thousand 741 samples made and 19 thousand 122 positive.
Of the total number of cases (349): 306 were contacts of confirmed cases; 26 with a source of infection abroad; on day 17 without a specified source of infection. Of the 349 cases diagnosed, 182 were female and 167 male.
59.2% (206) of the 349 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 11,649 that represents 60.9% of those confirmed to date.
Of the total cases of the day, 51 (14.6%) are linked to international travelers, accumulating 6,474, which represents 55.5% of the total cases since November 15.
The 349 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years: 49; from 20 to 39 years: 126; from 40 to 59 years: 116; 58 and more: 60.

Until January 19, 189 countries (=) with cases of COVID-19 are reported, it amounts to 96 million 437 thousand 763 confirmed cases (+ 447 thousand 672) with 21 million 803 thousand 329 active cases and 2 million 60 thousand 614 deaths (+ 12 thousand 3) for a fatality of 2.13 (=).
