Mayabeque, Cuba: “It is necessary to trap young people with attractive proposals so that literature becomes more popular in our days, although whenever there is a source of inspiration there will be poetry”, Nueva Paz writer Andrea García Molina said.

In the province, the artistic vanguards work together with the Directorate of Culture to preserve art from its different manifestations.

There are multiple actions to encourage a taste for literature in the new generations.

“It is vital to create spaces for writers to dialogue, have a theoretical criterion and exchange their experiences with specialists from other territories”, García Molina said.

Andrea García Molina is a cultural personality in Mayabeque, member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). Among her publications are: “The fault is of the words”, “Woman Inside”, “News for the son of man”, “In the hangover of the wind”, among others.
