Reciben atención especializada colaboradores de Cuba en Venezuela.

Mayabeque, Cuba: A group of psychologists and psychiatrists from Mayabeque, members of the Henry Reeve Brigade, recently departed for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to psychologically support Cuban collaborators who have been working for more than 20 months in that sister nation to stop the spread of the Covid-19.

The Head of Medical Collaboration in Mayabeque, t Master Anais Santos Gutiérrez, refers that this attention to aid workers who are separated from their families and far from their homeland will prevent them from presenting emotional alterations such as anxiety, stress and depression.

The Cuban doctors who work in Venezuela have overcome the barriers of technology, the varied climate of that country and the language, since many have learned to speak the variety of dialects used in their mother tongue: Spanish or Venezuelan Castilian.

The Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Disasters and Serious Epidemics, better known as the Henry Reeve Brigade, is a Cuban group of medical professionals constituted in 2005 with the mission of international medical solidarity, deployed worldwide in major health crises.
