Among those infected are 2 imported cases from the municipality of Nueva Paz, the rest are autochthonous, contacts of confirmed cases.
The municipality of Güines is the one with the worst epidemiological situation with 29 new people infected with the virus, followed by San José de las Lajas with 14.
Except for Santa Cruz del Norte, the remaining 9 municipalities have positive samples: Bejucal, Jaruco, Madruga and San Nicolás, 1 each. While Melena del Sur has 9, Nueva Paz 8, Quivicán 6 and Batabanó 2.

? 78-year-old Cuban citizen from Madruga. Personal Pathological Antecedents: Arterial Hypertension. He is in the Intermediate Care Unit, afebrile, on spontaneous ventilation with supplemental oxygen. Hemodynamically stable. He is reported as seriously ill..
? 6-month-old Cuban citizen from Batabanó with personal pathological antecedents of being healthy. She is in intensive care, afebrile, ventilating spontaneously. Hemodynamically stable. Blood gas within acceptable parameters. Chest X-ray shows radiological improvement. Diffuse inflammatory lesions in the left hemithorax. She is reported in serious conditions.
Meanwhile, reported as a critic is an 81-year-old woman, resident in the Municipality of Melena del Sur. Personal Pathological antecedent of Arterial Hypertension. She is in the Intensive Care unit, afebrile, sedated, on mechanical ventilation, with severe respiratory distress. Hemodynamically unstable, supported with amines. Better diuretic rhythm. Torax X ray shows radiological worsening. Inflammatory lesions of the lower two thirds parts of both hemithorax. Reported of unstable criticism.
