Havana, Cuba: There is no place for tiredness or accommodation here, we must continue working, and together we will get out of all the “problems” that mark the current scenario of the country, the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz -Canel Bermúdez said, during the most recent videoconference held from the Palace of the Revolution with the governors of the 15 provinces and the Mayor of the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, to discuss transcendental issues of the nation, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
“We are going to continue being brave, we are going to continue working, we are going to continue winning?, he said optimistically at the meeting that was led by the Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, and was also chaired by José Ramón Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and the Vice President of the Republic, Salvador Valdés Mesa.
Once these complex moments are overcome, the Cuban president assured, we will be able to consolidate progress and continue promoting the improvement of our society and our country, based on the strategic programs included in the programmatic documents approved in the congresses of the Communist Party of Cuba.
After recognizing a set of deficiencies that still persist in some key sectors, Díaz-Canel assured that the deficiencies that we currently face are not only caused by the country’s insufficiencies, but are, fundamentally, an expression of the tightening of the economic blockade, the financial persecution and the more than 200 measures that the United States Government has applied in the last four years.

In turn, when reflecting on this strategic issue, President Díaz-Canel said that this is the third year of application of the National Housing Policy and “the Plan must be fulfilled.”
