Mayabeque, Cuba: The outfielders of the Mayabeque Hurricanes team, Dennis Laza Spencer and Yasniel González Vega, make up the shortlist of 36 players to make up the national team that will participate in the Caribbean Cup, to be played in Curaçao from April 17 to 24.

“The need of the athletes not involved in the final of the 60th National Series to get prepared, and the obligation to cover certain procedures, including immigration, is what prevents us from waiting for the conclusion of the tournament?, the manager explained.

Likewise, he was satisfied with this pre-nominee that combines youth and experience, and specified that the training will begin on March 22 in the city of Matanzas, 70 kilometers east of Havana, under strict bio-sanitary measures.

The command of the squad will be assumed by the manager of the Matanzas Crocodiles, Armando Ferrer, who will also have the services of Pablo Civil, director of Los Leñadores from  Las Tunas, both rival teams in the recently concluded semifinal of the Cuban national pastime.
