Mayabeque, Cuba: On the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC) and the 60th of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM), this Sunday in Madruga a voluntary work in the sugarcane cut took place.
The participants cut more than 100 tons of grass in fields of the Agricultural Production Cooperative Camilo Cienfuegos, an essential contribution in the current campaign 2020-2021.
Voluntary work in support of the present sugar campaign in the day of commitment and willingness to continue to push the main economic areas of the territory in times of world crisis due to the pandemic and the increase in the unfair North American blockade.
The day concluded with an act of acknowledgment to young activists for their contributions, chaired by government officials, the Party, the UJC and the OPJM of the province and the municipality.
