Cuba reports 959 new cases with Covid-19.

Havana: Cuba reported this Wednesday 959 new cases with Covid-19 and 11 deaths in the last 24 hours, with which the Caribbean country accumulates 89,404 confirmed and 487 deaths since March 2020, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.

During the day, 24,600 admitted patients were reported, of them 3,688 suspects, 16,165 under surveillance and 4,747 still active with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the pathogen that causes Covid-19.

Cuba accumulates three million 277 thousand 536 tests carried out during more than a year of presence of the pandemic in the national territory.

Of the 89 thousand 404 patients diagnosed with the disease, 4 thousand 747 remain hospitalized, of them 4 thousand 672 with stable clinical evolution. There were 487 deaths (11 in the day), two evacuees, 54 returned to their countries, on the day there were 1027 discharges, 84,114 recovered patients (94.1%) accumulate. Seventy-five confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, of which 32 are critical and 43 are seriously ill.

Until April 13, 190 countries and 29 territories with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 137 million 820 thousand 664 (+ 754 thousand 261) with 24 million 40 thousand 71 active cases and 2 million 965 thousand 726 deaths (+ 10 thousand 977) for a fatality of 2.15 (-0.01).
