During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at midnight yesterday 25,124 patients were admitted, of them 3,914 suspects, 16,460 in epidemiological surveillance and 4,750 confirmed.
Durán explained that the country carried out 22 thousand 418 samples for a cumulative of 3 million 320 thousand 626 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 1,040 patients, 519 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 988 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 25 have a source of infection abroad and in 27 people the source of infection is unknown, one thousand 15 are acthoctonous .
Of the total confirmed, 543 are male and 4907 female. Regarding the age groups, 119 patients were diagnosed under 19 years of age and 106 were diagnosed in pediatric ages (6 under one year). There are still active hospitalized 713. In the ages of 19 to 39 years, 380 cases were confirmed, between 40 and 59 years about 395 cases and 146 people older than 60 years.
