Mayabeque, Cuba: The Eighth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba that began this April 16 to 19 of this month focuses its attention on the evaluation of core issues for the present and the future.
The new generations are currently playing a preponderant role in supporting training and education in values, as well as in political and ideological work to confront the attempts at capitalist and neoliberal restoration.
The young people of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mayabeque are a living example of the continuity of the ideals of the Revolution and of Fidel.
At the meeting, they will also discuss the need to make our arguments prevail in the face of enemy campaigns through social networks and the internet, which today have become permanent scenarios of ideological confrontation.
And this is precisely one of the campaigns that young people should support the most, thus defending national identity and culture together with the knowledge of our history.
