Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers from all sectors of Mayabeque are invited to participate in the Second Virtual Meeting of Applied Labor and Professional Gymnastics, to be held from April 27 to 29, in greeting to the National Occupational Safety and Health Conference.

The contest proposes to the labor movement, exercising next to the workplace as a challenge to counteract inactivity in the difficult times of Covid-19 and achieve a healthy environment as an incentive for quality of life.

Convened by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) and the Federation of Cuban Workers (CTC by its Spanish initials), at the meeting the initiatives will be shared and images and videos of up to three minutes will be published on the Facebook group @Cuba active and healthy, of the General Directorate of physical education and sports for all of INDER.

This virtual meeting will promote labor gymnastics and other physical, sports and recreational programs as an excellent option to generate benefits for the health of workers and therefore improve their work performance.

Within the parameters to declare active and healthy work centers is the application of labor gymnastics because it allows counteracting occupational diseases.
