Mayabeque, Cuba: In the most recent part related to the behavior of the disease, Mayabeque registers 6 positive cases, distributed in 4 of its 11 municipalities.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), all are indigenous and one does not know the source of infection.
Regarding the distribution by municipalities, San José de las Lajas and Santa Cruz del Norte reported two each, while Bejucal and Melena el Sur confirmed two cases.
In his usual press conference, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Doctor Francisco Durán García, reported that a patient in intensive care is reported from Mayabeque.
He is a 74-year-old Cuban citizen, from the municipality of Bejucal, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Ischemic Heart Disease. He is in Intensive Care Unit, afebrile, sedated, with few tracheobronchial secretions, vasopressor drugs are suspended, on mechanical ventilation. He was hemodynamically stable, with preserved diuresis. Chest X-ray unchanged with Inflammatory lesions in both lung fields and he is reported as critical stable.
