Mayabeque, Cuba: The health intervention with the vaccine candidate Abdala was successfully completed in the municipality of Jaruco, benefiting 700 volunteers.

Without records of adverse events of consideration, the three doses of the immunogen were received by Public Health, Optical and Pharmacy workers, Medical Sciences students and personnel exposed to risk that support actions against COVID-19, which met the criteria of inclusion.

The researcher responsible for the study, Dr. Dianelis Valdés, highlighted the work of the health personnel who facilitated this new immunization process, but of transcendental importance for health in Jaruco.

She pointed out that the training of Public Health personnel who will be involved in the anticovid health intervention to the population and convalescents of the coronavirus is coming.

She specified that the experience with the vaccine candidate Abdala is a benchmark to achieve quality in the anticovid vaccination movement that will be deployed very soon in the communities. (BSH)
