The blockade must Caesar and the world accompanies us in this legitimate claim.

Cuba is admired throughout the world for its extraordinary social work, for its attachment to justice and human dignity. The popular Revolution of January 1, 1959 paved the way for the construction of a free and equitable society with rights and opportunities for all.

Conquering freedom and defending it at all costs has had a high price that honors us by being altruistic and forces us to resist and win. The United States blockade against Cuba is illegal, opportunistic and criminal and constitutes the main obstacle to our development, but it has not been able and will not be able to prevent this island from moving forward.

Cuba counts on world solidarity in its fight to put an end to this brutal policy and this will be another day to demonstrate it.

The United Nations General Assembly will debate on June 23 the Cuban resolution on the need to put an end to this economic, financial and commercial siege against our people.

The world will once again raise its voice in favor of the Cubans who for almost 60 years have faced the hatred of the most powerful empire on the planet without abandoning their principles or renouncing to continue making their dreams come true.

This genocidal policy has not been able to achieve its purpose of destroying the Cuban Revolution, on the contrary, it has put the people’s capacity for resistance and the decision to move forward at all costs to the test.

The world admires and respects this lesson of firmness and resistance, for what the international solidarity is with Cuba, its people and its Revolution. This June 23 will be another day of victory for the man who taught us to be worthy and free and to never get on our knees: Fidel, the historic leader of the Revolution.

At the UN, Cuba comes to demand a right and makes it proud of itself and its men and women who have been fighting for more than a year a strong fight for life in the face of Covid-19. Cuba already has two vaccines to put a stop to the pandemic Soberana 02 and Abdala, it is the only Latin American country that has achieved it and it is not a coincidence, it is the result of the work of the Revolution.

The blockade cannot destroy us but it is unjust, illegal and in violation of international law, that is why César and the world must accompany us in this legitimate claim.
