During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at midnight yesterday 36,671 patients were admitted, of them 7,957 suspects, 18,347 in epidemiological surveillance and 10,367 confirmed assets.
Durán explained that the country carried out 32,380 samples the day before for a cumulative of 4 million 948 thousand 516 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 2 thousand 464 patients, 724 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 2 thousand 309 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 60 have a source of infection abroad and in 95 people the source of the infection is unknown and 2 thousand 404 are autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 1,175 are male and 1,289 female. Regarding the age groups, 403 under 19 years of age were diagnosed, and 359 in pediatric ages (26 under one year). There are still active hospitalized 1,0604. In the ages of 19 to 39 years, 813 cases were confirmed, between 40 and 59 years about 856 cases and 392 people older than 60 years.
