Havana, Cuba: At midnight yesterday, June 25, 36,680 patients were admitted, 8,042 suspects, 17,538 under surveillance and 11,100 confirmed active, the official site of the Cuban Health Ministry informed.
For COVID-19, 34,608 samples were studied, resulting in 2,403 positive samples. The country accumulates 4 million 983 thousand 124 samples carried out and 179 thousand 656 positive.
Of the total number of cases (2403): 2256 were contacts of confirmed cases; 54 with a source of infection abroad; 93 without a specified source of infection. Of the 2403 cases diagnosed, 1,243 were female and 1,160 male.
27.4% (660) of the 2403 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 83,838, which represents 46.6% of those confirmed to date.
The 2403 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (436), from 20 to 39 years old, (739), from 40 to 59 years old (831) and over 60 years old (397).

There are 1,231 deaths (12 in the day), two evacuees, 54 returned to their countries, on the day there were 1,658 discharges, 167,269 recovered patients (93.1%) accumulate. 154 confirmed patients, 59 critically ill and 95 severely ill, are cared for in intensive care units.
