Havana, Cuba: The entrance exams to Higher Education will be held next February in a single edition, Maikel Ortiz Carmona, national director of pre-university at MINED, said.
The executive commented that once the course is restarted, the institutions, will adjust the academic organization so that the tenth and twelfth grade students receive their classes in the morning session and the eleventh grade pupils in the afternoon.
Ortiz Carmona pointed out that in the last week of November the development of the provincial knowledge competitions will be organized, and exceptionally, in this school year the condition of loss of requirement for the Vocational Institutes of Exact Sciences will not be applied.
Cuba has about 400 pre-university schools, and of them, 57 continue their classes due to the favorable epidemiological conditions of their territories.
