Mayabeque, Cuba: In the province of Mayabeque, the number of positive cases for Covid-19 continue increasing, reporting a total of 157 infected yesterday, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) of Cuba.
The city of Güines has the highest incidence of the disease with a total of 55 people infected. For its part, Batabanó also has a high number with 36 diagnosed with the virus.
The municipality of San José de las Lajas registered 17 positive samples; in addition Santa Cruz del Norte and Madruga quantify 14 in each territory. Meanwhile, Quivicán adds 11 patients, Jaruco: 4 and San Nicolás: 3.
In the case of Melena del Sur, Nueva Paz and Bejucal have one patient per locality.
Among those reported of stable criticism is a 76-year-old patient from Madruga, an 80-year-old woman from Güines and another 83-year-old woman from San José de las Lajas.
According to Dr. Francisco Durán, in his usual press conference, a 55-year-old citizen from Madruga and a 32-year-old resident of San Nicolás remain in serious condition.
The call of the authorities of the province is to strictly comply with the measures directed by the top management of the country, with the health protocols and to increase the perception of risk.
