Serbia: Under the title Cuba will win! The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia today joined the international rejection of what it called a campaign of provocations aimed at destabilizing the island, Prensa Latina reported.
In a statement published on his website, he indicated that he joins his voice with that of other communist and workers’ parties in the world to condemn acts organized and promoted by counterrevolutionary groups backed from abroad to try to present a picture aimed at making an imperialist intervention viable.
He stressed that the objective is to facilitate the escalation against Cuba and its people by using the problems caused by the aggression and the criminal blockade of six decades imposed by Washington.
The NKPJ reiterated its full solidarity with the population, the Communist Party and the government of Cuba, against all imperialist attacks on the sovereignty and rights of its people.
Hands off Cuba!, the note, signed by the secretariat of that political organization, claimed to assert that the blockade of the United States and any other form of imperialist intervention must cease immediately.
